Top 10 Electrician Marketing Agencies to Consider

Ten companies that market electrical contractors, what each one says it does, and what an electrician should check before handing over the website.

Top 10 Electrician Marketing Agencies to Consider

Electrical work sits in an awkward spot online. Half your searches are small and urgent, like a dead outlet or a breaker that keeps tripping. The other half are the jobs that pay the month: panel upgrades, rewires, EV chargers, generators, commercial service work. One website has to win both, and most of them only win the small ones.

These are ten electrician marketing agencies worth considering. To be straight with you: this is our blog and we put ourselves first. The other nine are real companies, described the way they describe themselves on their own websites.

What an electrician should actually check

  • Do they separate repair from upgrade work? A tripping breaker and a service panel upgrade are two different customers and need two different pages.
  • Can they write about licensed work properly? Permits, inspections, code updates and load calculations should not read as if a stranger wrote them.
  • Do they cover the newer money jobs? EV charger installs, whole home generators and panel upgrades are where a lot of growth is.
  • Is the phone easy to reach on mobile? Most of this traffic is someone standing next to the problem.
  • Who owns the website when the contract ends, and how long is that contract?
  • Do they handle commercial as well as residential, if you do both? They sell very differently.

1. DevignSol

{{image:devignsol}}

We build websites and do the search work for local service businesses, most of that work so far in home services, electricians included.

We are not an ad agency. We do not run ads, manage social accounts or send email campaigns, and hosting is not part of what we sell. We build the website and do the search work, and we are on this list because contractors compare us with the companies that do the rest.

  • A page per job, not one services page. Panel upgrades, rewires, EV chargers, generators, troubleshooting and commercial service each get their own page, because that is how people search.
  • The license questions answered. Permits, inspections and what a job involves, written where a homeowner is deciding whether to call you or keep googling.
  • Fast on a phone. Tap to call in reach at any scroll position, short forms, and your service area stated plainly.
  • You own everything. WordPress, your content, your domain. Leave and it stays with you, working.
  • No long contracts. Month to month.
  • Websites first, then everything that feeds them. Website design and development is the base; SEO and Local SEO get the pages found, and conversion work turns those visits into calls. For electricians: electrician websites, electrician SEO and map coverage for every town your vans cover.

Best for: electricians who want the website done properly first and the search work built on top of it.

2. Hook Agency

{{image:hookagency}}

Hook Agency has a page written specifically for electricians and describes its work as digital marketing and website design aimed at getting contractors higher on Google. It says it works only with contractors and home service businesses, and lists SEO, pay per click advertising and web design as its services. Its own wording leans toward growth-mode contractors rather than one-van operations.

Best for: established electrical companies that want ads and search handled together.

3. Footbridge Media

{{image:footbridge}}

Footbridge Media also runs a dedicated electrician page and calls its offer done-for-you marketing for electrical contractors. The package it describes includes a custom website, local search work, content and reputation management, and it says it has been working with contractors since 2004. It makes a point of working without contracts.

Best for: smaller electrical companies that want one simple package and no lock-in.

4. Rocket Media

{{image:rocketmedia}}

Rocket Media describes itself as a different kind of agency that puts a premium on client relationships and proactive problem solving. Electrical is listed first among the industries it serves, alongside HVAC, plumbing, security and solar. Its services cover strategy, content, paid media, SEO, social and web development.

Best for: electrical contractors who want one team across advertising and the website.

5. Blue Corona

{{image:bluecorona}}

Blue Corona calls itself a home services marketing agency and lists electrical among the trades it serves. Its website now carries the RYNO Strategic Solutions brand, which is why the screenshot above looks the way it does; the two announced that they have merged. The services it lists run from web design and SEO to paid media, email, social advertising, website chat and a reporting dashboard.

Best for: larger electrical companies that want everything under one roof.

6. Rival Digital

{{image:rivaldigital}}

Rival Digital says it builds marketing systems that power consistent demand for home service companies, and lists electrical among the trades it works in. Its services include website design, organic and local SEO, AI search optimization, pay per click, digital PR, email and Google Local Services Ads. It is one of the few on this list that names AI search as its own service line.

Best for: electricians who want search and the newer AI search work covered together.

7. Contractor 20/20

{{image:contractor2020}}

Contractor 20/20 describes itself as an expert in advertising for plumbers, HVAC companies and electrical contractors, and lists electrician marketing as its own service. It covers ground most of this list does not, including direct mail, radio, television, branding, customer retention and help with recruiting staff. It says it works with everything from single-van companies upwards. We cover electrician website design in its own post.

Best for: electricians who want offline advertising and recruiting handled too.

8. Valve+Meter

{{image:valveandmeter}}

Valve+Meter calls itself a performance marketing agency and keeps a dedicated page for the electrician trade. It says it ties marketing work back to calls, booked work and revenue rather than to softer measures. Its services include local SEO, Google Business Profile work, website design and development, paid search, Local Services Ads, content and reputation management.

Best for: owners who want every dollar traced back to a job.

9. WolfPack Advising

{{image:wolfpack}}

WolfPack Advising is a full service digital marketing agency working with home service companies, and says it started because its founders were frustrated by agencies that over-charged and hid behind vague reporting. It groups its work into branding and website, lead generation through advertising and search, and automation through a CRM. It states that it does not use lock-in contracts. We have a separate post on construction marketing agencies. We have a separate post on home services growth agencies. We cover home services marketing agencies in its own post. We have a separate post on home services website agencies.

Best for: electrical companies that want the follow-up and CRM side handled as well.

10. KickCharge Creative

{{image:kickcharge}}

KickCharge Creative is a branding and marketing company for home service businesses, and names electrical among the trades it works with. Its strongest suit, by its own description, is identity work: logos, company naming and truck wraps, backed by print, digital and website services. If your vans and your website look like two different companies, this is the sort of firm that fixes that.

Best for: electricians who need a proper brand before anything else.

Agency, freelancer or someone in-house?

All three work for electrical contractors, and they fail in different ways. A freelancer is cheap and quick until they go quiet the week your site breaks. In-house sits closest to the work but one person rarely covers design, writing and search properly. An agency brings a team and, sometimes, a contract you cannot walk away from.

Whichever you pick, keep the website, the domain and the Google profile in your own name. That one rule survives every staff change and every falling-out.

Five questions before you sign

  • Who owns the website if we part ways, and do I get the files and the content?
  • Show me an electrician site you built and tell me what you wrote yourself.
  • How many pages are you building in the first ninety days, and which jobs do they cover?
  • What happens to my Google Business Profile, and does it stay in my account?
  • What does month four look like once the site is live and the easy fixes are done?

An honest answer to the last one tells you more than any pitch deck. Nobody can promise you rankings, and anyone who does is selling you something.

Start with where you stand today

Before you call anyone on this list, look at your own site on your phone. Search your main town and your biggest job, panel upgrade or EV charger install, and see who comes up. That ten minutes will tell you whether you need a new website, better rankings, or simply a clearer path to the phone.

If you want a second pair of eyes on it, we will look at your site and your rankings and tell you what we would fix first: get a free website and SEO review.
